Thanks Pravin, they moved the shipping up from .99 GBP to 1.59 GBP, but 12-13 dollars a disc i still feel is a great price for some discs that you dont always see for very cheap on this side of the water, and their shipping is great, individually wrapped and i got mine in 4 business days

just go to thehut.com for european cheaper movies, shipping is about 2 dollars a disc…tkaes it to around 11 dollars or so a disc depending on the title

@Mark – I wasn’t sure if it was HMV or another one of the European sites which had that problem with shipping – where each item is charged instead of the overall order. Not all of those retailers are like that. The post has been updated accordingly, thanks for pointing this out.

@Gary – the old 80GB PS3 has PS2 compatibility, as well as 2 more USB ports and flash memory support. That’s what makes it more expensive than the current PS3. The new 80GB model is the same as today’s 40GB, but with double the storage. I may never need to use the other ports or memory card slots, but since that box is a media extender, I want to keep my options open when it comes to connecting anything.

If you can hold out till Sept., Sony is coming out with an 80 gig version that sells for the same price as the 40 gig does now. $399 They’re eliminating the 40 gig.

The hmv.com is not a good deal, do the math.
I went to the website and almost ordered but did not because at 2.99 pounds plus
4.25 pounds for shipping equates to around $14.50 per disc.
Don’t be fooled, add up the numbers!!!!!

everyone always seems to forget about circuit city. i honestly hate their stores and their service in them, but online its great and they always seem to have some better deals and financing.
