I just found the HD DVD Planet Earth set for only $29.99 and free shipping at the Discovery Channel DVD store. All HD DVD sales are final, but I mean come on!!! ONLY 30 BUCKS!!!

I did find the Matrix trilogy for 41.99, which is still pretty good. Probably gonna go ahead and get it for that.

Fry’s also carries the HD DVD cases (no logo). A pack of ten goes for $12.99. A little pricey, but better than ordering on-line then having to wait for delivery.

As for the Matrix, being a Warner’s title, it’s probably not on sale yet. No one seems to be discounting Warner titles yet – probably due to the fact that Warners remains steadfast in their promise to continue releasing titles on HD DVD until the end of May. Stores only seem to be discounting titles from studios that have pulled the plug. (Although Universal must yhave shipped “Fletch” before deciding to pull the plug, as it was on the “New Release” shelf at Fry’s.)

Just picked up Top Gun at my local Best Buy. They had it for 18 bucks, but I did a price match that they had at frys for 9.99. The only other Im interested in getting right now is the Matrix Trilogy. What is the cheapest that anybody has seen it for.

If anyone plans on buying from blockbuster of hollywood video, the one by me is selling it with the artwork however in a standard dvd case. You can find a 10 pack of the red hd dvd cases on amazon if you’re really picky about your collection as I am. Just search HD DVD case.
