I will say that no one should underestimate the impact that Star Trek can have on any format. Star trek has been an absolute cash cow for Paramount since they acquired Trek from Desilu back in the late 60's, grossing well over one billion dollars in revenue for the studio. Why do you think there have been FOUR spinoffs and ten (with an eleventh on the way) feature films. Even at tthe price I am betting that this set sells 100K over the first three months.
