300 Is the Fastest Selling High-Definition Movie Yet
by Pravin on August 7th, 2007 in movies.
Warner Home Video announced yesterday that, since its release on July 31, “300″ has sold over 250,000 copies on both HD DVD and Blu-ray. Warner was the first studio to break the 100K mark with The Departed, and also claims the highest grossing HD title with Planet Earth.
300 has special significance for the HD DVD world because it has the state-of-the-art “In Movie Experience” features to date, enabling viewers to take advantage of HD DVD exclusives such as picking out scenes to create their own version of the movie to share with others — over the internet. You can join the online community set up for the movie and get content such as wall papers and ring tones.
And on top of all that, it’s a great action-packed movie that’s sure to please.
